Starting Off..

My grass is part green, brown and part weeds.  Not knowing what in the world to do I went to Lowes and spoke to a Scott's representative on 3/20/2010.  It turns out that I have bermuda grass and it isn't very easy to deal with. Well his advice was to do nothing till the fall.  At that time I should over seed and add some winter guard. I wasn't too happy with that answer so I thought I come back when someone else was around. I couldn't bear to do NOTHING.  Making matters worse was that we didn't have a lawn mower.  The grass and weeds were knee high already.
